Good decision! Matt is here to destroy SFUSD. He is one of the main reasons why so many parents had to switch their kids from SFUSD to private schools.
Agree. Even people that work for SFUSD are sending their kids to private schools because they have lost all faith in the SFBOE and SFUSD. Matt needs to go. As we saw with the overwhelming support for the recall, he does not align with what SF families want or need to thrive.
Very sorry to hear this. The un-endorsed candidates seemed to be the best qualified to be on the school board, based upon their candidate bios. The remaining choices seem less qualified, to varying degrees.
Yes, its sad we had to do this, especially with promising candidates. One of the things we've learnt is that cv's don't matter as much with school board leadership - its values alignment and especially willingness to place the interests of students first and foremost that makes for a good leader.
Candidates who knowingly align themselves with people who've caused great and abiding harm to our children just so they can get elected to public office are the exact opposite of the candidates we want to see on the school board.
